End of Class
I just realized an issue with school that I’m trying to figure out a solution to. Kellie and I are wanting to take our classes together. I was just browsing around our University of Phoenix website and I found out something that may throw a monkey wrench into our plans. They apparently got our transcripts and I have 2 class waivers that Kellie doesn’t have. I don’t want to take a class I have a waiver for, but I don’t want to leave Kellie behind in school work. Unfortunately, our academic adviser is on a short vacation. I’m hoping we can get something resolved. Maybe we’ll somehow get a waiver for Kellie or I can take some alternate classes to fill the time.
I believe I’ve finished all that is required of this first class. Kellie and I have found that we have had a different experience in our class due to have different instructors. We were told that they should be the same. Granted, we have had the same reading and assignments due, the process of “talking in class” and the method for doing some things have been different. I believe I had a more helpful, but demanding instructor than Kellie’s.
On Tuesday, we start our second class. Our second class is titled “Contemporary Issues and Health Policy.” In its description, it says:
This course examines the interrelationships of legal decisions, health policy
development, legislation, and regulation in the context of contemporary issues.
Activities explore the impact of health policy changes on the individual nursing
practice and the delivery of health care to consumers. Nursing ethics are
explored in relation to health policy and decision making.
I guess we’ll have to see what this entails.
